End User License Agreement

1. Agreement

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you ("User") and Dicy ("Licensor") for the use of the Dicy mobile application ("App"). By installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA.

2. License Grant

Subject to the terms of this EULA, the Licensor grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

3. License Restrictions

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the App
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Rent, lease, lend, sell, or sublicense the App
  • Remove any proprietary notices or labels on the App
  • Use the App for any commercial purpose without prior written consent
  • Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

4. Subscription Terms

The App offers the following subscription options:

  • Dicy Free: Limited to one (1) app restriction. No payment required.
  • Dicy Pro Monthly: $9.99/month, auto-renewing. Provides unlimited app restrictions and all premium features.
  • Dicy Pro Lifetime: $49.99 one-time purchase. Provides permanent access to all premium features.

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID and billed by Apple. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

5. Refund Policy

All purchases are made through Apple's App Store. Dicy does not process payments or refunds directly.

To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com within 14 days of purchase. Apple reviews all refund requests according to their refund policy.

For the lifetime purchase, refund eligibility follows the same Apple refund process. We recommend trying the free tier before committing to a purchase.

6. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into this EULA by reference.

7. Ownership

The App and all copies thereof are proprietary to the Licensor and title thereto remains in the Licensor. All rights in the App not specifically granted in this EULA are reserved to the Licensor. The Dicy mascot, brand name, and all associated visual assets are trademarks of Dicy.

8. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with the following third-party services:

  • Apple Screen Time API — for app restriction management
  • Supabase — for data storage and authentication
  • RevenueCat — for subscription management
  • Meta/Facebook SDK — for analytics and advertising tracking

Use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. The Licensor is not responsible for the availability or functionality of third-party services.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. THE LICENSOR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR THAT ITS OPERATION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

10. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE LICENSOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP. THE LICENSOR'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Termination

This EULA is effective until terminated. Your rights under this EULA will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies from your devices.

12. Apple-Specific Terms

This EULA is between you and Dicy only, not with Apple. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the App. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if applicable). Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA.

13. Changes

The Licensor reserves the right to modify this EULA at any time. Continued use of the App after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated EULA.
